Individual, customize-able library buttons

I think it would be neat to be able to create buttons for the toolbar, for individual libraries. So instead of using the current drop-down selector, you could just put a button on the toolbar and single-click to different libraries. I would find this very useful, anyone else?

Thoughts?

We are not the developers

Why so many Libraries that there is a need for a 'quick change'?
Tags and Filters can do a lot when created with thought.

Note there are good and valid reason for separate libraries.

Well, in my case, I don't put things into my main library until everything is good enough to read without distraction. No margin errors, no formatting errors, good cover, etc...I put new stuff into a 'working' library until I can go through it. So I do a lot of switching.

As for not being developers, yeah, I get that

But as a user, mightn't you find it useful? or not?

That is only 2 libraries and there is a speed 'switch' that appears when you create and use a few., So NO, I personally don't see a use. YMMV

Go to this forum and suggest it as a plugin idea.

Ah, I'll do that dwanthny, thanks. I hadn't considered it as a plugin -- I was thinking it would have to be something Kovid did, but now that you mention it, there's no reason it couldn't be a plugin. Thanks.
