Exclamation BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!

(ROLL OF DRUMS PLEASE)

I...HAVE...PURCHASED...MY...TACTILE...KOBO...EREAD ER...TODAY...AT...BESTBUY...

It's presently charging and dowloading a ...load of comic books...
Got 16gigs of extra memory...
I feel like the World is mine!

It's been a crazy last two years for me - not much hapiness - but right - I feel as happy as a seagull who found a frenchfry, a kid who stormed Santa's workshop, a... Ok, you get the idea...

This thing really fits into a cd plastic case.

I've unplugged it and saw a few examples of comics - it's wonderful.

I thought it was faster though for the page switch but, it's not fully charged and even isn't as fast - it'll still be fantastic to carry over 1,000 comic books!

I took a credit card plan thingie at Bestbuy, I have to pay taxes and a 25$ fee and I only have to pay it in ONE YEAR.

THIS IS FANTASTIC.

...oh...and you people will have to read me a lot because I have a feeling I'm going to have 25 questions a day...

...and the first...

CAN I MAGNIFY COMIC BOOKS?

This device is absolu-teely amazing! I don't know how long I was in the park but read a few comic books, read part of a novel, check the time on it.
I noticed that comics take a slight moment longer to upload (change) the next page - probably because it's "heavier" (more information or noise) than a novel.
My friends - Star Trek is here! We are living Star Trek!

The qualities of scanned comic books is amazing, I have to say. I thought that at best I could read fuzzy "talk balloons" but even the captions are readable. For this price - I don't think that at the present moment there is a better product. I am utterly amazed in the most amazing way I can think of!

Delighted to see such a happy user! I do have CBR's for both TinTin and Asterix (guilty pleasures from my youth) and am holding off on these until I upgrade from the WiFi.

Ok I see some of the features that sold you on the reader was: a) the size and b) its ability to show comics. What else is its best features?

What format are your comic books?
If you can get them in / convert them to PDF, I hear the Kobo Touch handled PDFs really well. And you can zoom them.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. =]

Comics are cbr but I won't convert them. I am able to read them. I don't know if I should say where I got the comics on this site...

JB, I love the feeling of being independant - don't know if it's the right word but I litterally carry 10,000 pages of comics books and 100s of novels - I go in the park, coffee shop - work - and everything is with me.
I think the "gadget" feature is also cool. But EVERYONE must admit that this ereader is leaps ahead of the other ones - and by this I mean tactile.
I knew of other ereaders - and I mean their features - like bookmarking and putting faves - but this is the first one I buy and reading about it and doing it on your own machine are two things.
I guess it's the "remote-syndrome" - I don't know how I managed to live before I had my Kobo.
And now I'm even thinking of every possibility - when I wait at the dentist, hair dresser, any place I go - I can always fill up every single second with things I like to read and even reread.
...and...it's only been a little over 24 hours since I own my Kobo - wait'll I figure out more things I can do with it!
