disable subscriptions in user cp?

i don't like having every thread i post in become a subscription.

Go to Edit Options in the User CP and you can choose Do Not Subscribe.

You were faster than me, issybird, thanks for the answer.

User CP --> Edit Options, then scroll down to "Default Thread Subscription Mode" box and in the drop down menu, choose "do not subscribe".
