As stated in the subject, where can I find places to download free investment ebooks?

there are step by step investment ebooks that actually have a high price on its hosted website...

Amazon and B&N both have free books from FT Press - selection varies weekly and over time you'll build a nice library of legit and legitimately obtained investment books (some weeks you'll get more than one, some weeks it's more science or business). Their books are also the ones you'd find in your local bookstore, so less likely to be written by those not qualified or trying to scam you.

I see. But are there books like the intelligent investor, security analysis, one up on wall street, the buffett way, etc? I'm looking for this range of books. By well known author and not those ebooks which are written by some random people.

Chances are you will have to pay for them. If they're well known authors and you want current books they have no reason to offer the books for free.

yes. From FT Press. They offer about 4-6 free each week.

If you are looking for a specific book, you may not find it quickly (or ever). At least, not legally, other than borrowing it from the library (lots of them there, of course).
