Light recomendation?

Well, you knew it was coming...

Could I get suggestions for an attachable book light for the Nook Touch?

I'm thinking about a Nook Touch. I tried it at the store, and it felt very nice. I currently have a 505, and always read with a cover on it, and I usually use an attachable book light that attaches nicely to the cover. I want to try the Nook Touch without a cover. It looks like the current clips on the current clip-on lights are to long to fit the Nook Touch.

My requirements for a light:

Must be attachable without using the cover
Uses rechargeable (preferably AAA) batteries

I like the MightyBright lights. They have many styles to choose from with clips for attaching and LED for energy effeciency. I'm not sure I spelled the brand name correctly though.

I have a Mighty Bright XtraFlex that clips onto the device without bruising it. I also have a TravelFlex (which is narrow and long) for use with a cover. Carry overs from the days of my Sony 900.

I have two Mighty Brights: an EXtra Flex 2 and a Telescoping Triple LED. From the pictures I've seen of the Nook Touch, it looks like the clips are two large (the clip would end up on the screen).

SCION, when you clip on your Extra Flex, where do you clip it(top center, top side, ...)?

Thanks.

I clip it to the top center. It covers the power button, but doesn't press it. You can shift it to the top side. The clips don't cover the screen. Place it on there just enough so that the cushions are on the bezel. It won't be on the screen. I haven't read with a light yet.

On my tiny Sony 350 that has a very small bevel, I attach the MightyBright light to the opened cover front which I keep folded back behind the 350 during reading. It won't attach well to the 350 alone due to the large clip. Admittedly I rarely use the 350 with a light though as that is why I have tablets and iPt4.

I do the same thing with my 505, except I almost always read with a light (and I always read with the cover folded back). The STR felt nice without a cover, so I was interested in trying it without a cover. I'll probably start a new thread shortly titled "Good STR cover that is similar to the Sony 505/650 cover?".

I've been using the Touch (with no cover) and Xtraflex 2. It work's OK, but it's not the best fit.

I have been using the nook clip light and it has plenty of light is small enough to work with the touch and does not mark case (foam lining in the clip).

I would like to see a really clever lighted case from B&N the last attempt was not that good.

I would like to see a case with built in light. My wife's Kindle case is pretty sweet.

I realize this is an old thread, but nobody mentioned my favorite light, the Kandle:
http://www.amazon.com/Kandle-Ozeri-D.../dp/B0031116K8
It was originally designed for the Kindle, but it works great on both my classic nook and my nook touch. It's intended to be clipped directly to the device, with or without a case, which it does just fine on my nooks without depressing the power button on either. It casts an even, bright light far superior to every other book light I've used, including the lightwedge case I had for my old Sony 505.
