Kobo Touch and center alignment

I've been fiddling around with formatting in a few books that I've converted from PDF and there are sections that I would like to center align... I've tried text-align: center, and <center></center> but neither seem to work.

Has anyone else been able to do so?

Try editing it with sigil, it is the easiest way to make those kind of changes. For Table of content, you can try my App
