Lightbulb NYTimes FIX (Feb 16, 04)

As promised, here the fix for the NYT channels as discussed here.

What has changed:

NYT now links to the full article without splitting large content into subpages. I had to adjust the regular expression to take this into account. Also, I changed the link depth to 1, since there is no need anymore to download the text-only version of each article (which I had used before to have the full article on one page).

Info on how to configure the attached NYT channels you can find here.

Regards,
Alex

Did you try again? What version are you using? It seems to work fine here with iSiloX V4.01 (not beta).

Hey,

I'm on a mac using IsiloX 4.01. Tried it with my PC and it works but it looks like crap. There has to be a better way to get that kind of content.

There isn't. a) because iSiloX doesn't allow you to download specific content and b) because the site you are downloading wasn't meant for mobile browsers. However, you shouldn't care too much about how the index looks - the actual articles look just fine and can be easily read with iSilo.
