'Publisher Defaults' seems broken
Every book I've tried so far renders the lines of text with zero leading (line spacing) when I turn on Publisher Defaults. It's pretty much unreadable. It's inconceivable that publishers would design their books that way. I'm very glad there's an option to turn PDs off, but with some books that isn't going to be an option (when they use embedded fonts to render scripts that the Nook fonts don't support).

Ok, I tried one of my computer books with PD and it looks ok. So: it is a crap shoot as to whether PD is going to work. It would be nice if the PD setting (maybe all the text settings) were book specific. What works for one book doesn't always work for another. But it's the same with every other reading system I've tried.

Forgot to mention: after I toggled on PD for a particular book, it froze. Page turn buttons would not work, touch screen did nothing. I had to 'n' back to the Library, then open the book again.

With an epub book that I set up, I found that any font code I used prevented the Touch from ever using its own fonts (even when unchecking publisher default). So, I removed all my fonts from the epub. So I guess in this case there is no default. Perhaps a lot of epubs are set up this way?
