I'm having some problems with my Kobo. I had a friend put a whole load of box into a Dropbox file. Downloaded everything fine, created a folder, alphabetized it all but when I downloaded a book to test everything came up as so much gibberish. This is not a font size problem, most of the text doesn't make any sense. Now I know Umberto Eco is a difficult author, but this is crazy

a couple of questions what file format are they in (epub, pdf, txt) and can you open them on your computer as clear text through say calibre or another program. If you can't then the likely problem is with the actual files being corrupted rather than with the kobo in any way.

Hello again, Anglehead. You might find it useful to pop into the Kobo sub forum here. Just hit the little 'forums' button at the top of this page and just scroll down to what you need. Luck and bestests. Neil
