This is probably a very stupid question, but where do you get covers for the new Kobo? Or does it come with a cover?

the only covers available currently are at chapters/indigo or online. in the states i believe it's borders.

because the device is smaller and has different dimensions than any other ereader right now that's all you have to choose from.

There are some sleeve style covers on eBay already. Probably they were originally made for some other device.

after a little, cheap Mod, my $6 leather book cover works fine again

If you're intrested into the custom ones you can try M-edge covers which are very nice and affordable as an alternative to the Indigo/Chapters/Borders cases. Currently they only have Kobo Wifi covers but I can see them designing ones for the Touch ereader in the next short while

A sleeve is not a cover. Won't help at all when you have the reader out of the sleeve.
