Different font sizes in an Ebook !?!

Hi !

One of the ebooks (in Epub format) I downloaded lately contains 129 pages and I read it up to page 29 !

The problem is that the text on page 30 appears in a much smaller font than onthe previous pages... (so small that I can't read what's written !). The following pages are back to a "normal" size !

What's the problem ? What can I do to get all the text appearing at the same font size ? I tried to read it from within Calibre and all the pages have the same font size... How come ?

Heeeeelp !

I have no idea of what is happening - but here is what I would do - have Calibre convert the file to RTF. Then open MS Word and copy the RTF file into Word.

Now you can go to where the text changes side in the file and see if there are any formatting codes which you could fix. In any case, then highlight the whole file and change it to the same size text all the way through, then save the file and feed it back to Calibre and go from there.

I've had a few ebooks do that as well, and I just changed the font size on the reader to make it easier to read again. I blame whoever made the ebook, and their inability to get the formatting right.

Um.. bad idea there. You will end up causing all kinds of hassle that doesn't need to be caused.

Just toss the ePub into Sigil, find the CSS and/or XML code that's causing this and fix it. Don't use Word to cause a mess that doesn't need to be caused.
