Need batery
Accidently dropped my edge (in the sleeve), edge works fine on AC. However battery will not charge. Is it possible to break a battery? Dumb question thought I would ask. Was working just fine before I dropped it. Like I said, edge itself working like usual, so nothing damaged there. Any suggestions what I can do. Any body know where a battery may be available in the US.
All help appreciated Chuck |

Sorry but I dont think you broke the battery. You should better check the contacts of it on the machine

I appreciate the quick reply. I have been working on the contacts,. It may be inside my edge, that the contact there is not solid when I plug in the battery. I do notice that when I run on AC only the battery indicator indicates it is on AC by changing color, however when I plug the battery in it shows a battery installed and that it is charging. However when the AC is disconnected, there is no indication of any charge at all.
I have been looking for a battery, but so far no luck. If there is a way to get inside to physically check the contact inside I would appreciate it. Customer service has not indicated anyway to have it repaired through them. Thanks again for the reply Chuck |

I have seen the batteries on ebay, but I just checked and there aren't any now.
I hope you can resolve this sad state of affairs. ![]() |
