Accessories USB ethernet adapter & DHCP

Hello,

I have an edge and its USB ethernet adapter and am trying to bring up the ethernet network interface using DHCP. Is this at all possible? I can only see the UI to set up a fixed IP.

Hmmm. I don't have a USB ethernet adapter, but it seems to me you should be able to just plug in the adapter, wait a couple of minutes, and you should then have a DHCP-assigned IP address and your connection work. The UI for a fixed IP is there if you need it (which for DHCP you don't).

Without a fixed IP, is your eDGe not getting a network connection after a minute or so?

thank you very much for your answer. Indeed, after a little while, it gets a connection via the ethernet-usb interface. I musn't have waited enough.
