Newbie Questions/help and Thank You!

I have been exploring the forum, FAQ and blogs since I received my "Pocket Edge".

What a valuable resource! A big Thank You

for the tremendous help provided by so many of you.

I've read, watched "How to videos" and have continued to explore my new edge. I love what I have accomplished with what I consider to be a great "dual book".

I am knowledgable regarding computers BUT this is my first android based device. I have a lot to learn!

I have not located the answers to the following questions.

I accidently started a download of two "freebie google books"! Guess my stylus got away from me!
Anyway, I ended up downloading them as I do not know how to stop the download! Then, when I was asked what I wanted to do "open" or "add to library", I indicated open as I did not want them! LOL

They opened and I had them on the Reader side, I then just used "quit" from the menu!

They are not in my Library and I do not know WHERE they are on my "pocket edge".

Can someone help me and tell me "How do I get rid of them"?

Is there a way I could have stopped the download?

2nd question:
I added Pandora's radio and the Power app following the great directions given here(Thank you) but I do not know "HOW" to move the rectangle screens off to the side or make them into just small icons.

Anyone?

I'm sure I will have many more questions as I continue to discover all of the wonderful ways the "Pocket Edge" may be used. I love it, so far.

Hi there, the books are probably in your download folder; you can find it by going to storage, internal, and the folder should be there. Open it and check the books, then delete from the bottom. The power widget can dragged to the trash can and then re-added on one of the side screens. Just long press on the screen you would like the widget to appear on. Same for Pandora.

Some apps immediately show a download screen with a progress bar. If you see this, tap and hold the download and "Cancel". In other cases, the notification bar at the top of the LCD side will show an arrow pointing down to a line. Tap and slide this down to reveal the notification details (or press the "Menu" button, then Notifications). If you tap and hold the download, you'll see the download progress screen - again, tap and hold the download and "Cancel". If all else fails, you can remove the file from the Download folder as Cheyenne described.

Note that widgets often down have a variation in size (unless they're listed separately in the Add Widgets process). I posted details of customizing the home screens here: http://www.entourageedge.com/forums/...e-Home-Screens.
