iGo Universal Chargers
Does anyone know if iGo chargers are safe to use with the larger eDGe? I plan on finding a tip that fits with some accommodating folks at a local store, but I noticed the iGo unit is 40W whereas the supplied brick for the eDGe is 30W. I don't want to overload my battery, but I don't know if it works that way.

To be safe, you should ask enTourage Tech Support directly for a definitive (and non-warranty-endangering) answer

The problem with the iGo is not electrical (the wattage rating is not important from an electrical point of view- it wont "overload" the battery, the voltage rating (12V) is all that really matters). The problem will be to find an iGo "Tip" that fits the eDGe. This was discussed some time ago, and no one ever wrote that they found a tip that fits the eDGe. I tried by buying a huge assortment of iGO tips, but none of them worked. If you find an iGo tip that works, please let us know!

And please be careful with testing the tips. The little pin (eDGe-side) easily breaks.
