I like this one. My 10" one is a bit tight for the eDGe but works. I am thinking the 11.6" would work well. I know there was a really good thread on mobileread that talked about sleeves.

I bought one of these cases at the sale price (thanks for the tip!). It's nice and sturdy, but quite heavy and not as versatile as just carrying the eDGe in an over-the-shoulder bag. It's good if you're not concerned about weight and only need your eDGe + accessories with you. For me that's rarely the case.

The weight of the case is due to the solid outer casing and a solid middle flap, which I understand doubles as a laptop mousepad, but I haven't found it useful for the eDGe. Also, while the Grid-it system is pretty nifty, it takes a lot more time to stick items under the rubber bands than just to drop them into a laptop bag side pocket, the way I normally would.

All that said, I'm using the case to see if maybe it will grow on me, but I can't see myself using it for significant trips, etc.

I was all set to buy a new sleeve when my remembered that we have this black, zippered sleeve which came with her 10" Asus eee (it was replaced by something pink) so now I'm using it and the fit is perfect.

That $29.99 case on Amazon is not the same as the one in the eDGe store. That one is still $44.99.

The one which is on sale is larger than the one being sold by Entourage?

I bought one when I found the sale, great case for school since I need my charger and a few other things. It is exactly the same case. Netbook Case, Fits Up to 11-Inch., with the grid it system.

Which colour did you get?

Btw, is the cocoon case waterproof? Anyone know? I am a public transportation and long walking kind of guy, as such I am often caught in the rain. I bought a backpack specifically to keep my textbooks and notebooks etc dry (after a few very horrible experiences with soggy Discrete Math and Circuit Analysis texts) but since I now am trying to exclusively use my eDGe I want a smaller accessory bag. So, again, I just want to know that my eDGe will be safe in the cocoon. Anyone?
