Pulled the trigger today

Have been watching, listening and learning since the eDGe was released. Entered my order today - Ruby Red by the way, as GREEN is not yet available.

I'm jealous! I really wish I had gotten red instead of dark blue - mine is all smudged. Plus, I just think the red is nicer. Oh well, live and learn. Now, I just need the skins to come out...

Red is the only color that 'inspired' me, though green was my first choice.

I'm getting tired of safe, conserative, neutral colors - so about any fun color inspires me : -)

I just had a hard enough time affording the eDGe in the first place, the $40 more was problematic.

My 'easter egg' has apparently crossed the atlantic...now waiting for customs to decide what to do with it. Help me visualize "no customs fee"

oh excellent Gunner! I ordered just before Easter (in boring midnight blue) and have been waiting for it to jump through various "hoops" to get to Germany. We should hold it in our hands pretty much the same time I'm expecting mine today or tomorrow - can't wait to finally put it to use!

Is there a way to tell whether the software patch has been applied? On my recently received unit, when I looked in settings under software update the date was 4-14-2010 - I have yet attempted to download the update.

You can always just click to look for/go ahead with the update, and if you're up to date, I believe it will tell you.
