Renaming authors and titles
is there a quick way to make all existing calibre books have authors in the same format? i.e. all in FN LN or all in LN, FN
Also, is there a way to make all my Titles to appear like this: Series Name & #, Title without having to re-type it? |

You can do both things with the bulk edit metadata feature- check out the search & replace for that dialog. However, as for storing series information in the title field, that's not a very good way to organize your library. You would be better advised to store series information in the series field- that way, Calibre can categorize your books by series, if you want it to. If you want the series information to appear in the title on your device, check out the metadata plugboards in the preferences.
