A calibre library suggestion
When browsing my library because I have some extra user columns when I look at some of them I can no longer see the title of the book. Could the title column be pinned to the left side of the table so when you move across the screen it would stay visible?

There is a plugin to create various views it's called the View Manager https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=129014. I use this to create various looks in calibre.

I actually like the pinned column idea. This is something that spreadsheets have done for years. In many cases, the user needs (wants) to see many columns of information, but one or two key columns are always needed. Pinning those columns to the left yet still allowing the user to scroll through other columns is a very useful tool.
However, given that I haven't written a line of code in about 20 years, I have no idea whether this would be easy to implement. |

It would require rather a lot of monkeying around with Qt's internals, not something I would want to take on. Offhand I'd say it would require repositioning columns on horizontal scroll events being careful to not cause double painting.

Oh well. Thanks anyway. And by the way you wrote a great program. I can't imagine being without it.
