book comparison/search

hi, i remember reading a post which i can no longer find that had a link to a site that allowed you to enter an author/book title and it would then show a list of similar books.

does anyone know the site i am talking about or of something similar tried a few after a google search but they were not very good .

any suggestions???

Although, my personal favorite way to get recommendations is to go to Amazon and find people who rated the last book the same as I did and read how it is so much worse/better/the same as this other author that they liked. I never judge based on average stars though- every book on amazon has 5 stars or close to.
