Kindle 3 Collection problems

When I move books into collections they show in the collection but also remain visibvle in the Home screen, This is very incovenient because i keep page and page of books listed in both places.Is there a way to sort the titles in the Home screen or to show titles onle ib the selected collection? Am doing something wrong? Thanks for the help.

I believe that if you sort by Collections, instead of Titles, you will only see the Collections, and not both the collection and the book title.

If you sort by Collections you will see only Collections, but I've never been able to figure out how the list is sorted. It isn't alphabetized. I desperately wish this option was alphabetized.

If you sort by Title the list gives all Collections AND each book. Alphabetized. If you name all your collections with a symbol in front they will be alphabetized to the top and make all collections show before all books.

ie name the Collection

- Clancy, Tom (with the dash) and not
Clancy, Tom

If you sort by most recent you get a jumble of what you've recently viewed

When you sort by Collections, I think they are sorted by the most recently accessed collection and/or titles that are not in collections.
