Uploading to Stanza on ipod
I have roughly 2000 books in Calibre. I have converted them to epub format and copied them to a folder on my hard drive. I am running Windows 7 (12 gb of ram) and itunes 10.2.2 (64bit).
I am trying to get the books into my ipad 2. I have tried using "File Sharing" in iTunes for the Stanza application. However, I keep getting an out of memory error in iTunes. I have tried just copying 100 books at a time and still get the same error. Any ideas what I can do to get the books into Stanza? I do have Dropbox but want to physically install all 2000 (roughly 1 gb) onto my ipad so I can be totally offline without a network thus I do not want to add them to Stanza one by one. Thanks. |

You might be better off enabling the Calibre server and using the download all function from within Stanza. You'd still need to do it in groups of 30 or something, though. One of the perks of doing the downloading from within Stanza - you also get metadata. Useful if you have synopsis, etc, on Calibre.
