newbie, so much to learn

Hello, my Kobo was a great Christmas gift and I have downloaded and read a number of books from the Kobo site. Not sure how to download from this site, or if this is even a site from which to download. Are there any tutorials? If I am able to download, the procedure isn't jumping out at me.

Thanks

Good to have your company, Willy. Why not download the free Calibre Library software, which is the best out there? (http://www.calibre-ebook.com) You can then buy or download from pretty well anywhere your like and transfer the book to your Kobo via a USB cable from your PC or laptop in seconds. Many advantages. Happy Koboing and best wishes. Neil
