PRC hmm, you speak great English. Personally I don't like to assume that the whole world speaks my language so I prefer to speak your language with the help of Google Translate.

What electronic book stores can your reach in the PRC? Do the government authorities need to approve individual books before they are published in the PRC? Does the Kindle speak Chinese? I think its great that mobile read has a new member from PRC.

First, thanks to all for being so kind as to reply! I really know even less about forums than I do about Kindle...

Next, I have downloaded some of the books you have so generously posted - Wow, great stuff! Thanks a million.

So far I have only used my Kindle for English, but I guess it can read any files... I have not tried.

I want to give a special thanks to whoever it was - I am so sorry I did not get the poster's name - who put up the Harvard Classics (numbered). I am slowly making my way through them - I greatly appreciate your effort.

Finally, yes, I am a 中華人 - but I can only guess that the Chinese that you posted above was created by a Google translation machine - it's acceptable, in that I can "puzzle out" the meaning... But it's kind of funny too!

Again, a big thank you to all for welcoming me!
