Agreed. Digital just means there's even more copies in different formats to hoard. Offices are pretty good at making extra work for the sake of it. It has its own kind of Parkinson's law. "The amount of duplicate files hoarded expands to cover all of the file formats available."

I have also heard the HP and Microsoft are expiementing with Holographic computing. Talk is that in five years there will be no keyboards or montiors, to interact with your PC you will put on a pair of glasses on which images will be projected and you will speak to the PC instead of typing. Thus to enter a reply into Mobile Read you will say "Quick Reply" then dictate the reply. That will be for office environments where as in the home you will not wear the glasses and instead the images will be projected in the air around you.

Still waiting for the hover car. Or hover boards....

Wasn't the Jetsons set in 2013 or something?


On the other hand, it could be more fun playing holographic sims... (And personal I find voice imput tedious for computers and not just because the system is imperfect but because I can click faster than I can say it and the computer can find it.)
