Bummer! Education store on Sony site

It's too bad the Sony educator discount doesn't apply to K-12 educators. I know some elementary and high school teachers who use ereaders in their classrooms, and I'd think Sony wouldn't mind getting into some classrooms as well. I know Sony doesn't focus on its ereaders in particular, but you would think it couldn't hurt much. Apple extends its educator discount to K-12 educators as well.

At least Sony.com has a student discount. We have a valid student card with required institutional email address but Sony.ca doesn't do student discounts.

It might be worth it to call customer service and ask if they'll allow the discount for K-12 educators.

If you are going from the 505 to the 650, you are in for a real treat! Congrats!!
