PR500 "U"

I know someone commented on the PR500u, but I couldn't find it doing a search. Does anyone know the difference between the 500 and the 500u?

Thank you

Nearly as we could tell when it came up before, one has a 'u' on the end of its model number and the other doesn't.

The only possible difference we came up with at the time that this question was originally raised is perhaps the "U" model ships with updated firmware.

Thank you both. I didn't think it was anything earth shattering, and assumed it was the firmware upgrade (I haven't yet received my Reader). I was just curious--but then . . . that's why I'm here!

Absolutely! It's a perfectly sensible question to ask!

Totally agree. Ask all the questions you like, that's very much the point.

And of course, feel free to answer them too!
