Just a reminder that this promo is still active and this is the last day for it. Here's the special promo page which lists all the sale titles with their subgenre categories and their sequels (not on sale, so check the prices before adding to cart).

I've been toying with picking up Steam & Sorcery myself, since Carina offered a tie-in novella free in a genre I vaguely like in its non-romance incarnation and followed it up by dropping the actual book to 99 cents.

Even though I'm not a romance person, I do kind of want to encourage them to continue this kind of trend (full free stories, cheap introductory prices).

But the novella started out promisingly yet didn't read all that well by the time it finished, and I don't really care for the genre anyway, so I'm kind of on the fence.

On the other hand, I spend more on my overdue fines at the library and it would go to support a DRM-free publisher which otherwise has policies I like even if their catalogue is simply not to my taste.
