web page filtered - a lot of crummy code

Even though I convert from Word 2007, I get a lot of crummy code when I save using Web Page Filtered. For example, it doesn't handle my bullets or numbered lists correctly - it doesn't use the .li code. Instead it puts in some goofy Microsoft code that does NOT wrap correctly when the document has been put through Calibre.

Do you have any suggestions?

Use RTF instead.

Alternatively use OpenOffice - a lot of people report the HTML is a LOT cleaner.
