Post Newbie from Norfolk England

Hi there - since I'm posting here I'm new to this forum. Little about me. Been an avid ebook reader since the late 90's and never looked back. Got fed up and bored with what the UK were producing in the way of books at the time and started buying print books from the US - eventually discovered ebooks and the rest is history last count I had in the region of 15,000

I've had various e readers over the years eBookwise reader. Illiad, Cool-er, Sony 600 and now the latest edition of the Kindle - also read on smartphones, pc's and laptops and various other small palm devices.

I've worked for electronic publishers and found this forum by accident when I was trying to convert Word doc to an epub format book and trying to get rid of all the rubish - decided to join in...

Hi Gail and welcome to MobileRead. You appear to be a hopeless book addict which means you will fit here very well.

Thanks for the kind welcomes. Book addict is right. I get withdrawal if I don't at least read a page. In the last couple of years my reading time has been limited. I hate it.
GeorffC imagine if they were print LOL...

Funny you should say that but I had at one time around 5 thousand print books lots of them from the US and I offered them to the Library and they refused them. And since I'm anal - they all looked new another reason for electronic reading.. don't have to worry about bind creases
