Problems with mobi2html.exe

Hi there, when I unpack this file (attached below), it inserts random sentences/words in places, but it doesn't in calibre (I don't know if they use different algorithms).

Anyway, here is the file is in the attachments (pg71.mobi = On the duty of civil disobedience); it's from project guttenburg, although I expect that is of little help since, as I stated above, it can be read perfectly with calibre.

Any help appreciated.

(Edit: here's the output)
Attached Files
File Type: mobi pg71.mobi (69.5 KB, 231 views)
File Type: gz pg71.html.tar.gz (27.2 KB, 243 views)

Hi Laststando59, welcome to MobileRead!

I must admit that I don't have any problems to unpack your file with mobi2html.exe. What is the exact command that you're typing in?
And may I ask why do you want to unpack? If you simply want to have the hmtl-file you can download it from Project Gutenberg, too.

Sorry, my question is a bit misleading. I wrote that I could not unpack the file; I actually ment there were some bugs in the output (Added to the first post). :P

It's 90% okay, but it seems to insert some random sentences/words in places. Here's a few examples:

Quote:
Let every man ot I make known what kind
No need for an 'ot I' (should be 'to'), and:

Quote:
as enemies by it. A wise man will only be useful as a man, and will not submit to be "clay," and "stop a hole to keep the wind away," but leave that office to his dust at least:

to
Random 'to' here.

I've tried a couple of --options, --rawhtml and --mobihtml.

Judging by what I've read in other places, I'm suspecting it's using a different charset that mobi2html seems to stumble on.

Yes, I see what you mean. Such thoroughly I didn't examine the file after reading your first post, sorry.
That's a little bit strange. Maybe Tompe sees this thread and can explain it.
By the way, the html-file at gutenberg.org that has most probably been the source of the mobi file doesn't have these additional words.

Use something else to convert mobi to html? Didn't you say Calibre converts it correctly?
You could also try MobiUnpack.
