Myrmidya: Warding the Magic

Greetings!

My latest work, "Warding the Magic", is now up on Smashwords. It is the first full-length story (50k+ words) set in the world of Myrmidya--a fantasy world created twenty years ago whilst I was a wee lad in elementary school.

Here's the quick blurb from Smashwords:

"Magic is a living force with a will of its own. Nothing is forgotten; everything returns in time.

Ke'argis is summoned to a birth in the village of Sedryn, and he is ill prepared for the event. Born with magic in his blood, the babe becomes the focal point for ancient and terrible forces beyond the knowledge or ability of Ke'argis.

Events are in motion, driven on by the tide of magic."

i liked the sample so i bought it from smashwords. is there going to be a sequel at some point?

Yes, it's intended as an ongoing saga. I've been writing and creating stuff for the world of Myrmidya since sixth grade... about 20 years ago or so. There's a lot of stuff there. The goal is to release a series of novellas and follow the tale to its conclusion--wherever that may be.
