Classic Home.apk troubles

It has been about two months now since I rooted my Nook, and I have to say that I am much better of for it . However I am a long ways off from being finished with it. My current bane is a couple of dependencies of the home.apk. I use the ru launcher, and like it very much, and I would like to remove any links to the original home launcher as possible. Removing the home.apk does help with this, but it bricks three other things in the process. The three things that I am trying to get to work without home.apk are:

-Screensaver
-Reading Now
-Audio

*When I remove home.apk, the screensaver function seems to get locked into its current set of images, displaying only one image of the locked in set without any change. Although I only tested this from uninstalling home.apk without changing the default screensaver.

*Reading Now will only work as long as either the original home.apk or nook.ru's modified apk are installed.

*I cant link to the original audio program that is in the home.apk.

If anyone has any ideas on a solution for any of these, let me know, and I will be very thankful.
