Program To Create Magazines

Hello,
Some of my friend(me too for sure) are planning to create a little eMagazine about technology, so I want some suggestions about a good program to create this project. Anyone have suggestions for me?

I think we're going to need more information. Is this going to be something like a Web page, or a tablet app, or a plain ebook, or something else?

It might be in PDF, ePub and Mobi formats. Where the PDF format will have all the good layout. The others are just going to be the news without layouts and heavy formatting.

Do the PDF in Pagemaker, Quark, Coreldraw or whatever the equivalent of those programs is these days. Do the epub and mobi version in Dreamweaver or whatever people use for html these days, and convert that to mobi with mobicreator. Then convert the mobi to epub with Calibre.

I'm going to try InDesign a bit, since I have the Adobe Creative Suite license, by the way I'm also going to read this book, since it might help me with the ePub/Mobi conversion from a InDesign project
