602 CREATE WALLPAPER

I would like to create my own personal wallpaper for my Pocketbook Pro 602.

Can somebody please let me know how I can go about it. Also what program I would need for my pc.

You may like to have a look at this thread. However, as the 602 is one of the newer models I don't know if stuff which was relevant to PB360, PB302 is now considered "yesterday's news".

PB 602/603 needs a BMP image, 600x800 pixels, grayscale, 96dpi. You can use Irfanview in Windows (www.irfanview.com) to modify whatever you want, or GIMP in Linux/Windows. Rename your image according to your existing logo placed in your pocketbook memory, in directory /system/logo (I have a 603 and mine is named "1_st.603.bmp") and you've done.

In fact, there is no need to rename your picture - as Dulin explains here, you can simply go into the configuration/settings menu, under "appearance" choose "power-off logo", and then select your picture. You can also put several of them there and select "random", so that upon shutting down one of your pictures will be selected at random.
