Nook app question

I've posted this question in other places but still have no definitive answer. Where on my hard drive do the ecopies of my Nookbooks reside? If an ipad sync does not backup the books on my HD, how can I make that happen?

My apologies if this is an obvious question, but I searched all over my PC for these files, looked in this forum and others for an answer to this, and just can't discover one. Help, please?

I'm not sure if they would be backed up when you sync, but if you want books you purchased from B&N to be backed up on your pc, you should be able to do so by downloading the pc software from B&N and then syncing with B&N's servers (not your ipad) using the same account you use on your ipad.

If you have just the Nook app on your iPad, the Nook books are saved within the app. They are backed up when you backup your iPad to your PC, but within the iPad backup file, which you'll need a 3rd party program to access these book files.

But since Nook (and Kindle, for that matter) have PC reading programs that access/download the same books as well, it is easiest to just download the app, re-download the books, and access them there (Usually in My Documents/My B&N Ebooks or Kindle Content)
