How is old this Kindle?

Hi I got a used Kindle DX latest firmware, I like to know how many time it has, there is a log or something else where understand the real age?.
(like windows that creates some files during setup).

Amazon with serial nr could not determine it because it has been purchased in a retail store (the customer support said this)

Also a log could be useful for read when it started ist activity.

Well the kindle didnt debut until around May of 2009.

But you may be able to plug the kindle in the PC and see what files/dates show up. but I dont know of an actually log.

There have been three models of Kindle DX:

1. White, with a US-only CDMA radio. Released May 2009.
2. White, with an international GSM radio. Released Jan 2010.
3. Graphite, with a Pearl screen and GSM radio. Released July 2010.

That should at least allow you to determine its maximum age.

If the kindle is registered to your account, send Amazon CS An email (or you can call them) with the kindle's Amazon name (ie the name that appears at the top of the kindle on the left side) and they will let you know the exact date the kindle was shipped from their warehouse. I have done this a couple of times when I was selling kindles and wanted to know for warranty purposes. They replied within 12 hours.
