Accessing Calibre from another computer

How can I access my Calibre Library from my work computer? Help

Content Server is my preferred method. Search for that phrase here. You can also look at DropBox.

VNC or Remote Desktop Connection (if your Home is the pro versions of windows). (RDC has additional functionality in extending Host resources to the client) Ubuntu Linux has the ability to make a RDC connection to a Windows host.

If you're running Windows on both you can use LogMeIn. The free version will work fine.

I use teamviewer v6 instead of logmein as I can run it from a usb without having to install it. Useful for work PC's

If you have space to install Calibre on your desktop at work, using Dropbox to store the Calibre library is the easiest way to go. I'm using that on 5 different computers and it works wonderfully. and you don't have to open any holes in the router/firewall that could pose a security risk to your home network.
