Need help please
Hi I have just downloaded Calibre for windows and have installed it using the wizard when I want to open the program I get the following error message:

"The procedure entry point SetDllDirectoryA could not be loacated in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll"

Does anybody know what I can do to correct the problem?

I take it, there is a very good reason you have not gone to SP2 or SP3?

Kovid may have to answer the (if this is a OS down rev) dependency question.

XP SP1 is no longer supported by Microsnot, leaving your computer open to attack. You need to upgrade to SP3 ASAP! If your hardware is so old it will not run SP3, then you need to upgrade your hardware.
