Need help with facial expression...who doesn't?
Hello, my name if Tammy and I'm new to this group. I'm hoping someone can help me out with facial expressions. I'm trying to find a way to say, "his expression was set in stone" but not so boring of course. This man I'm describing is basically looking at the heroine with a stone cold expression, he's not a mean man, he's someone with little personality...kind of like one of the Queen's guards. Any ideas?

Hi Tammy If we were sitting together & communicating verbally this would be easier It's hard to suggest something that evokes the impression you want to place in your readers mind. I might be way off the mark but here goes "Face devoid of expression" "Expressionless face" "Looked or responded impassively" "Impassive expression" |
