GUI Interface Glitches

First I got to say I have never seen a software which is so often updated. Every week when I start Calibre to refresh my Ebook Reader content there is a new version Great Work.

While most changes are probably under the hood I wonder about some small glitches in the GUI (I work on a Mac). For example in the Metadata Editor Window the popup Menue to allow selection of existing authors the field is always too small. I tried with different fonts, no effect.

As my author list is growing it would be great if this popup menue becomes more readable. I dont know whether this is a GUI render issue on the Mac only

I use a Mac and I'm not seeing any font sizing issues in the metadata data window. Can you post a screen shot because I get the feeling I'm not looking in the right place.

Ok here is a screenshot for the left side of the metadata editor:

You can see that the author list are partly scrambled due to the narrow margins for this popup menue.

As there is a calibre update every day maybe these GUI glitches can be look at too...?

Between the entry area with the author and the image is a vertival bar with a dot in the center. Put your mouse over the dot. Click and hold. Then move the mouse to the right. This will make the entry area bigger and fix your issue.
