Cybook Opus PDF reflow?

Hello all,

Just got Cybook Opus for a weekend from a local library and been testing it out with different file formats after I tested out their Bebook Mini.

In the Mini, I could choose the size of the font in PDF and it then did the reflow to allow me to read it without scrolling the page.

Cyybook Opus is so much better than Bebook Mini, but I cannot figure out if PDF reflow is even available for this reader.

The information is as follows:

Version: ARM920T

Boo Reader v2.00, build 1193

Adobe Reader Mobile: Version 9.1, build 28890

So is there a newer firmware available which would possibly have the PDF reflow capability?

There is a newer firmware available, it's number 2.1, but it can't reflow pdf-files, too. Regarding pdf files this newer firmware is worse than 2.0 cause in 2.0 you could crop margins, in 2.1 this function is missing. If you wish you can try it out yourself, you can download it from Bookeen's homepage.

On a more general note: as many pdf files are formatted for A4-pages any 5" or 6" reader will have some problems displaying pdf files. It's best to use epub if you have the choice.

Nope, no reflow.

last update (2.1), have also taken off the "margin cropping" momentarily. Will be back when bookeen will finally get around porting the chages made for the orizon to the opus...

Not sure what are bookeen's plan about reflowing are...

Generally I favor EPUB, but for example such book as Raising Atlantis was in PDF format and reflowed nicely in Bebook Mini. I guess I could convert it to EPUB with Calibre, but I rather not
