PRS-650 What light to get?

Hello all,

I have an Oberon PRS650 case (the "official one" - not self modified).

I would like to get a light for night time reading (should be able to be relatively dim - as my wife does not appreciate bright lights for my nighttime reading).

What would you recommend for this combo?

If you have a Borders near you, they have smal "book owl" clip on lights for around 6$. They work fairly well, and are dim enough not to disturb someone next to you. The only drawback is the battery life is relatively short in my experience.

Mightybright Travelflex. Works with 1 AAA rechargeable. Not too bright IMO. Clips onto case behind the E-reader. Got one $15 on ebay.

This is an LED based light so it has MUCH better battery life. You can read a few hours a night for weeks on one battery, so if you get one of those giant 25 packs of AAA batteries they will last a year or more.

"Save the planet & go re-chargeable" - unless, of course, you feel the process is in fact more harmful than the buy & chuck model..........................
