Canadian Cases

I have a kindle 2, and have for a long time, and I was wondering where could I buy a nice cover/case in store. I'd prefer not ordering it online, so I can man handle it before I buy it. Does anyone know what stores sell them?

canadian case? you mean like a hollowed out beaver carcass or something, right?

seriously, I haven't seen one at any brick and mortars. ever.
you can always just order one on amazon, man-handle it, then send it back if you don't like it.
I've gone through a few of them myself and I really prefer amazons own brand.

I'm looking for a K3 one myself, can't find any in stores; I ordered one on ebay from Ontario for $20, and it's being shipped by elderly mule.

Knowing how FAR NORTH Canada is, I would have guessed Musk Ox for transport.

It might have been dogsled in the past, but those folks at Whistler have messed up that concept badly.

The Kobo cases are pretty nice and they fit the K3. Maybe 2 cm of it will not quite fit, but for me anyway, it's close enough.

I couldn't find a single case for my Sony reader in Canada last year aside from the official Sony covers (in Toronto), and I didn't see any Kindle covers, as far as I recall. Sorry I can't help. Roots might have sleeve cases that may fit the Kindle, you could check out a Roots store if you have one near you, or Chapters or Indigo might have some sort of envelope or sleeve cases that might fit your Kindle.

As you can see, it sticks out just the tiniest bit, but is quite satisfactory. I mostly use it just to transport in a backpack or something, I read the Kindle 'naked' so am not too concerned with an official case for it.

I have to say, your case looks quite snazzy!

Ah. It definitely will not fit the Kindle 2 I have tried (I used to have a Kindle 2) and the K2 is too wide. Sorry!

Well, I'm going to have to eat my words, or the mule, whichever: the case came in about 8 days, nice, sturdy, fits well. This one. You can fold the cover back, but I'm worried that will eventually lead to the cover tearing off, which rather defeats the purpose of the dang thing.
