Book Cataloguer

I searched for hours on Google to find a decent book cataloguer, and the best one that I could find is Ebook Organizer, http://www.myebookorganizer.com/. This will read your folders and bring all of the formats that you select into a list that can be converted to HTML or Excel. I do a few things with the raw data to make it more useful to me, such as removing the drive path etc and leaving the author folders, but you don’t have to do anything for it to be useful. I haven’t used it but a couple of times and I am not an expert, but it seems to do what I hoped it would. I can’t really dive into it and see what all it will do right now, but in a couple of months, I will. I will report more then.

If anybody knows of a better one, or think it is better, I would love to know about it.

Specifically, have a look at calibre's catalog-generation functions. It's remarkably handy for generating a list of your ebooks, which can be very useful to have in used bookstores (says the person who has brought home spare copies more than once).
