3.0.2 can't update to 3.0.3
I've just bought a Kindle Int 3G+wi-fi, and it cames with 3.0.2 installed. I'm trying to go to 3.0.3 without success. I've turned the wireless on for an hour and nothing. I've tried to update manually but the file gets automatically deleted. Please help...

Kindles which arrived at the very end of 2010 and the start of 2011 came with 3.0.2 (553210206) which is a special factory only version of 3.0.2 and not supported by the 3.0.3 upgrade which only expects you to be on 3.0.2 (529960105) at the highest.
Its a known issue. You have to use 3.1 if you want to upgrade. |
