Most Recent First - Changed behaviour?

Hello there,

Over the last few days, my Kindle's behaviour has changed. I'm sure it isn't developing a personality, but still...

I usually use 'Most Recent First' as my default organisation option; this is useful, since I can look by 'title' to see all my collections\items , select a couple of books, and then flip back to 'Most Recent First' - this means that the books \ items that I'm currently reading (yes, several on the go!) are always at the top of the list on that page.

In the last few days, this hasn't been happening, and 'Most Recent First' is showing the most recent Amazon download or Calibre side-loaded book.

I've factory reset, and put some books back on (and downloaded some back from my archived items) and it's still not showing books that I'm part the way through that I've recently accessed in 'Most Recent First'.

Any suggestions?

If you have not changed how you display or sort:

I'm not sure if this is the answer but check the time on your kindle - and reset the time if it is wrong. You also need to sync with Amazon so if you keep wireless OFF, that can interfere with sorting order, also.

Others may have additional suggestions.

Right - just been playing around, and I've managed to get my original behaviour working.

It seems that somehow, the setting to view the order of books had changed to 'most recent first' when I was viewing inside a collection, and this was doing 'strange things'.

Honestly, I think this thing has a mind of its own sometimes...
