Calibre reader question

Hi there, I now have a question on the Calibre reader. If I am in the middle of a book and decide to close the reader, does it remember which book I was reading when I launch it again? Or does it only remember the page I was reading provided I have not forgotten which book I was reading. I have this problem because I have many books and I usually read them randomly, that is I do not have a specific order for reading my books (I do not mean that I read them randomly at the same time ). So does anyone else have this problem and how can it be solved (directly or indirectly)?

I think it remembers (roughly) where you were in the book, but not which book. You have to first select a book, and then open it in the viewer. I don't think there is a way to have the viewer open to the last page of the last book you were reading. But if there is, Kovid or some other knowledgeable person should be along soon and enlighten us both!

Well, when I'm working on books and want to keep them handy between sessions, I give them an "0n Deck" tag so they're easy to see by clicking the tag on the left or the drop-down search bar.

Of course, you could use any tag, I just use that one, with a zero instead of an O, so the tag stays at the top.
