Hello everyone,

I am new to the forum.

Does anyone know why I keep receiving the same issue of a newspaper every day? All I can download is last Saturday's issue. The newspaper in question is The Times UK. I have a paid subscription to the newspaper.

I'm experiencing this too, except mine is constantly downloading yesterdays issue (I set up the news download yesterday).

There also appears to be a problem with the script downloading too many articles, or is this just me?

I'd give Kindle CS a ring and ask them. It's a free call, and they are always extremely helpful.

Angela - I don't think this question has anything to do with Calibre has it? I interpreted your post to mean that you have a KINDLE subscription to "The Times", but it's not arriving.

On that basis, I've moved your question to the Kindle forum.

Please let me know if you did in fact mean that you're downloading the news via a Calibre recipe, and I'll move it back again.

Sorry, Harry, I didn't realise my message would be confusing.

I am using Calibre. My subscription is direct with the Times, not with Amazon. (It gives me access to the Times/Sunday Times website, which the Amazon Kindle doesn't). I mentioned the subscription, as I have to enter my Times username and password before I can set up a download. Up to Saturday, the daily downloads were fine. It is only this week that there has been a change.

I noticed that in some sections (http://www.thetimes.co.uk/tto/news/uk/?view=list for example) news are not in chronological order. The best option would be to add a time stamp to the script, so each article will show date and time.
