Just wanted to say thanks to everyone

for all the help I've gotten here. I love this thing to pieces. I actually bought and returned an ipad over the holidays, but there is no way I'm getting rid of my NC. It's the perfect size, and it does everything I need it to, including letting me read books, surf the web, check email, and read the paper. And can I just say, this SlideIT keyboard is the bomb!

It's great isn't it? My husband and I have played extensively with our friends' gorgeous iPads, but find them too big and bulky for our primary purpose--carting something around for books and (in my husband's case) comics. Plus all the other stuff a rooted NC can do is a wonderful bonus.

I totally agree! I had two main beefs with the ipad - 1) it's to big for the way I'd like to use it, and 2) all the apps are too expensive (like $5 to $10). I don't mind spending $1 for a silly little game on my iphone, but not $5.
